Th two photographs on the left are of the
inside of Richard Kennedy`s present, spectacularly sited Gallery beside – and
above ruined, famous Dunluce Castle in North Antrim. Actually, above
and overlooking the public car park there. Along this wild coastline,
apart from Dunluce Castle, of the many other tourist attractions ‘open`
to the public, most notable also are the legendary Giant`s Causeway and
the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.
Our Gallery, in spite of its public access
tourist location, is, actually, ‘private property` and so, necessarily
– we are sure you understand on reflection – it may be necessary to
‘knock` for entry. We call it ‘jurisdiction at the door …….` Seems
reasonable.
Inside the Gallery are displayed
a comprehensive range of Richard Kennedy's prints from his three themed
Gallery ranges (as illustrated on this growing website) – namely, Royal
Navy warships, Rural Subjects and Rock n’ Roll Groups.
From West Dorset
the Gallery moved to this wonderful site in 1993 and a new Gallery,
photographed on the right,
has now opened in Bridport, West Dorset. 'The Loch Ewe Gallery' is at 59, South Street, Bridport, Dorset
DT6 3NZ. Naturally the two Galleries offer the same ranges
of prints for sale in company and to compliment each other. |
